The inspiration for the design came from the symbolic representation of the Bonsai vine and its exceptional cultivation. The Bonsai wine is produced by Podere Le Ripi in Montalcino, Italy, and is the result of a unique cultivation method where the vines grow in confined spaces. This allows the plant to take root and find nourishment deep in the earth, resulting in a wine that is truly one-of-a-kind.

The design itself is a reflection of the premiumness and exclusivity of the Bonsai wine. The vine image, measuring 13x4 cm, is meticulously screen-printed directly onto the dark glass bottle. The Bonsai wine label project started in 2011 with a paper label, but it wasn't until 2019 that the screen printing on glass technique was implemented. The result is a visually stunning label that perfectly complements the exceptional wine inside.
